Positive 60 Sports We Offer

Helping Kids Succeed in Life Through Sports

Positive 60 offers youth sports leagues, camps, and clinics for boys and girls between the ages of 3-14 in today’s most popular kids team sports. While sport offerings vary by location, Positive 60 offers flag football, soccer, basketball, and baseball in hundreds of communities each week.

Flag Football

Flag football’s popularity continues to grow each year as more boys and girls discover the fun and excitement of the game. Parents love the game because it offers a much safer alternative to tackle football. Instead of tackling the ball carrier, defensive players try to pull the flags off the ball carrier’s belt. It’s the perfect game for boys or girls ages 4 and up.

The popularity of youth soccer in the United States has grown exponentially in recent years to make it one of the most played sports for boys and girls under the age of 13. Kids in our soccer programs learn the fundamentals of the game, how to dribble the ball with their feet, good defense and offense. As part of our industry-leading commitment to safety in youth sports, Positive 60 has a Strict No-Heading Policy in our soccer leagues. Young players do not have the developmental skills to head the ball on the forehead and instead may incorrectly head the ball on the top of the head or on the temple, causing greater risk for concussion. While soccer is a great fit for all ages, it’s also a wonderful “starter” sport for kids as young as 3 years old to introduce him/her to team play!

Nationally, basketball is one of the most popular team sports for girls and boys. Plus, it’s a great sport to expand your child’s coordination and self-esteem. Positive 60 basketball programs are designed to help kids learn the basics of dribbling, passing, and shooting the ball, all while learning what it means to be part of a team.

For most kids, the ideal age to start basketball is between the ages of 4-5. The skills last a lifetime!

Baseball is big part of our history and culture so teaching our young athletes all about America’s pastime is an honor for our program directors across the country. The Positive 60 baseball program teaches kids ages 3-6 the basic fundamentals of how to catch, throw, hit, run, and be “baseball ready” in a fun, safe, real-game setting. A limited number of our locations offer baseball programs for kids over age 6.
